Objective: Describe the events that led to the adoption of communism in both China and Russia.
Classwork: We spent a good deal of time working on the Russia timeline together, then we got into groups to start work on the "China books." First, you answered the questions on the worksheet, then wrote a children's book about the details of the change in power. Then we watched a few Gandhi clips (all the clips and the corresponding times are found on this website). It was a busy and full day!
Homework: Finish the pink worksheet (all necessary resources are on the blog) and complete your children's book. We will share them first thing next time.
