Objective: Explain the global nature of WWI and the ways in which the war impacted areas outside of Europe
Classwork: Finished notes on WWI, then got into groups to discuss the impact of war in various areas (be especially familiar with African involvement and the Ottomans (specifically Gallipoli), and the ANZAC troops from Australia and New Zealand). We finished with a wonderful trench warfare activity.
Homework: Kaplan Ch 3 and CCOT essay; paragraph from All Quiet on the Western Front readings
