Journal: What are two advancements or achievements attributed to the Ottoman Empire?
Classwork: We wrapped up our discussion of "Things Fall Apart", then completed the "Age of Imperialism" notes with the powerpoint. The powerpoint is on the blog if you still need to finish. We then took a quiz (which CAN be made up if you were absent...a rare treat!), and finished class by learning about the Sepoy Mutiny and watching a video on youtube entitled the Sepoy Mutiny in 9 minutes (watch it if you missed).
Homework: Kaplan Chapter 6 (era 1750-1900) 25 question diagnostic test, with a brief explanation of why the correct answer is the correct answer (so take the test, then check your answers). Also, answer JUST the DBQ in full.
