January 13/17, 2012

Journal: Write down the "steps" to writing a great CCOT essay (you may look at your notes as needs be).
Objective: Recognize changes and continuities in the Americas between 1450 and 1750.
Classwork: Go over steps to writing a good CCOT essay, then write the essay, then finish your individual component of the Columbian Exchange research activity (for those of you not in class or who did not finish, the research pages are found under the 1450-1750 page of the blog).

Lastly, we got into groups to prepare for your super-awesome skit you'll present on in class next time. Here are the 2nd period skit assignments:
1. Spain's empire: Brenna H., Justin J., Nathan M., Michaela N., Miriam C.
