Journal: Questions 20-30
Objective: Explain global consequences of the Cold War. Describe the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Classwork: FINALLY, we finished our notes on the Cold War in the yellow packet! Hooray!

*Note, that the schedule in your reading packet is a little bit off, as I totally forgot a day..April 26th and 27th. THIS is the day when your Kaplan assignment is due.

Homework: Answer the 80 questions that correspond the with powerpoint.

Classwork: Continue lecture notes on the Cold War and work on creating a Comparative Essay outline.

Homework: Finish the comparative essay outline and complete the Cold War Reading Quiz.

April 16/17, 2012

Journal: No more journals! Instead, answer the first 10 questions in your practice Multiple Choice packet.
Objective: Explain major events of the Cold War.
Classwork: Lecture notes on the Cold War. Fill in corresponding notes. Understand how the conflict is global by working on the "advisor to the President" activity.

Homework: Begin preparation for your group review assignment!

PAY FOR THE AP EXAM!!

EVERYONE should have already paid your $87 to the financial office by Tuesday at 1:00! If you were gone because of band, my guess is that you could beg and plead to pay first thing on Wednesday morning, which you should try to do!


April 3/4, 2012

Journal: NO journal today (we missed everyone who was on band tour!)
Objective: Describe the happenings on the major fronts of World War II: C/C between Eastern/Western/and Pacific.

Classwork: We got into 3 groups and rotated stations to fill in notes on each of the 3 fronts of the war. If you were absent, get the notes from the blog and look at the powerpoints to fill in the information on each.

Homework: Finish your WWII Picture Project! REMEMBER: Powerpoints must be sent to me by 9:00 p.m. the night before presentations, or it is late!

Journal: What is the difference between fascism and communism? 2. Describe 3 events that led to WWII.
Objective: Describe the events leading to WWII.
Classwork: We reviewed the fascist leaders then took notes (on your own paper) about the 35 events that led into WWII.

Homework: FINISH your research for your World War II pictures.

Journal: What are 3 events that led to WWII?
Objective: Describe different fascist leaders, fascism, and their rise to power.
Classwork: Fill out the PATH to World War II worksheet about fascism, learn about fascist rulers, then host a Fantastic Fascists talk show!

Homework: Kaplan assignment
